Polaris dash cluster tie-in harness for MCSADVENTURES Plug And Play Turn Signal Kits
Watch Video
Dash arrow indicator integration for late model Polaris instrument cluster.
Compatible with many late model RZR 1000, Pro XP, Pro R, Turbo R, RS1, Turbo S, Polaris Ranger XP and General models that use the instrument cluster pictured. Note: 2018 model Generals and Rangers may not be compatible. On the 2018 models, the indicators may not work while the engine is running or while the charging voltage is above 13 volts.
After installing this harness, it is a good idea to test the dash indicators while the vehicle is running and while the vehicle is off before removing or discarding other indicator options included with your kit.
- Unplug dash connector
Remove the plug from the back of the cluster. Depress the button on the bottom to release the locking tab.
- Open the hinge on the back of the connector
Pry the tabs away from the nose of the connector and open the wire shield to access pins 6 and 7.
- Remove the cap from the plug nose.
This step can be done two different ways. The cap can be removed with a small screwdriver and some patience or by using our cap removal tool (available on MCSADVENTURES.com).
A. Using a screwdriver:
Depress the white tabs located on the ends of the connector to release the cap. Remove the cap. Refer to the video posted at the top of this page.
Insert the pins from the green and yellow wires into pins 6 (green) and 7 (yellow)
Remove dust caps from 6 and 7 if present.
Insert the pins from the green and yellow wires into pins 6 (green) and 7 (yellow).
Make sure that the inserted pins are the same length as the rest of the pins.
Replace the nose cap.
Close the hinge on the back of the connector
Plug the connector in to the gauge cluster.
Enjoy!
